Amanda Morris is an expert-generalist that has lead finance and accounting teams with responsibilities covering a wide range of areas including ERP, cash flow and debt management, and strategic opportunity analysis.
Amanda started her career in public accounting performing annual audits including SOX 404 audits at the height of the new legislation. This provided her valuable experience and insight to internal controls of a business and she continues to use these skills while leading finance, IT, human resources, and customer service teams.
Over the years, Amanda has sat on the Board of Directors working with private equity groups to help ensure that the company was moving in the direction with investment strategy. She has also sat on boards for volunteer organizations including the Institute of Management Accountant’s Small Business Financial & Regulatory Affairs Committee. Amanda was recognized for her contribution to the finance and accounting profession by being nominated for the IMA’s Young Professional Award.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University and holds several certifications including being a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant and being Certified in Production and Inventory Management through APICS.
