Romain Curtis

Romain Curtis is a California Licensed Architect. He studied architecture in France and at the California Polytechnic University of Pomona. He earned his Master of Architecture from the École d’Architecture de Paris la Défense. During his career, he was also licensed in France and Texas. He greatly supports the green construction movement, is a LEED Accredited Professional with the US Green Building Council, and a Certified Green Point Rater for Built It Green. Romain was a member of the Emergency Architect nonprofit organization and with them taught an architecture class and spent the summer of 2004 at the Kabul Polytechnic University in Afghanistan.
These past ten years, Romain has been managing his residential studio and with it remodeled and designed more than five hundred houses in the greater Bay Area. Before transitioning to residential design, Romain used to work in retail architecture and has designed stores in about fifteen different states. As part of Design Everest’s Architectural Design Advisory Board, Romain helps with growth, quality control, and design.
