For delivering design permit plans for your Biotech Lab construction in California
Design Everest recently completed a Tenant Improvement project in the Greater Bay Area. We did Architecture, MEP Design and Structural Engineering to convert an existing building into a Biotech Lab.
We worked with the city to expedite the permit process on an emergency basis and reduce the public notice and appeal period requirements. As a result, we were able to condense the permit approval timeline from several months to 1 week.
Our client is now well-positioned to ramp up its R&D and production of a critical ingredient used in the development of COVID-19 test kits. This has been a moment of pride for all of us.
Another example of a Biotech Lab project we worked on involved converting an office space into a Biotech Lab which included fume hoods and coolers. This means getting approval for the use of potentially hazardous materials along with the change-in-use of the commercial space. The Biotech Lab has 2 storeys covering a total area of 40k sf.
